Hot stove= Burnt hand.......Not a hard concept, huh?

Well, you would think it wouldn't be hard.... But, about 3 weeks ago, I burnt my hand badly. I was cooking and a piece of food fell off the pan as I was moving it to another burner. I have have a flat panel stove so it is very easy to just treat it as a counter. that is what I did. I instinctivley wiped the crumb off with my hand. My hand stuck to the burner that I had on high. Yes, on high. I couldn't of just had it on low. OH NO, it had to be high. It hurt so bad and I ended up with 2ND degree burns on my fingers and palm.

But, PRAISE the Lord. It healed very quickly. The ER gave me so silver Sulfadine cream and was incredible! If you looked at my hand now you could hardly even tell anything ever happened!!

This happened a couple days right after I started my blog. Now you know why I only have one entry on my blog. Am I forgiven?????

Tori's Kindergarten graduation

I will start off by back tracking a little. Tori graduated from Kindergarten June 2nd. It was a sweet ceremony. She was very proud. She looked so cute (and grown-up) in her Graduation cap. She was nervous at first. She said she did not want to go to Kindergarten graduation because she didn't want to go to first grade. So, I pressed for more information. She said she did not want to go to school all day. It seems that those fears have lessened over the summer, but they are still there. So, we shall see how the first day of school goes. Right now she is excited and nervous. She is excited to learn who her teacher is and nervous about the new experience of going to school all day.

There was a slide show at the ceremony. Here are the two Tori was in.

They are preparing to sing a song. Uhm... why is she the only one smiling....?

Tori just after she received her diploma.

We are so proud of our girl!

Tori made a lot of friends in Kindergarten. She just had to get her picture taken with her buddies after graduation.
Tori and her WONDERFUL teacher Mrs. Bailey!

Tori and her Principal, Mrs. Lynch. Tori loves Mrs. Lynch. On the first day of school bad Mommy (A.K.A.-Me), missed the bus! Yes, we missed the bus on her FIRST day of Kindergarten. I felt horrible. Tori was disappointed and was crying as we walked to school. When we got there, Mrs. Lynch was on her way in and saw Tori. She played up the fact that she got to walk with her to class. Tori was then SO excited. She made her day. when I picked her up that day she said, "That was so cool! I can't believe the principal walked me to class!! So, THANK YOU Mrs. Lynch for saving me that day!
Tori and her buddy Cecilia! She is such a sweet girl!

Maddy and Tori are also great buds.

This is Tori's good friend Hannah. Hannah has a younger sister. Tori loves hanging out with these girls. Hannah got her haircut and Tori loved the way it looked. She thought it was pretty cool when Hannah told her she "donated her hair". I don't know if that s why Tori wanted to do it or not but she now has done the same thing and her hair is about the same length as Hannah's. They also have a younger brother Sam's age so these kids are a great fit!

Welcome to my blog

Well, this is my first stab at blogging. I hope you enjoy. I will try my best to keep it updated. I have been thinking about doing this for a while. I would like to keep my friends and family updated on what is going on with the Matthews clan. This seems to be the easiest way.
