Sam and his friend, T.J. Bearytales. He loves this bear. He got this for Christmas last year from MeMaw and Papaw. Great investment! He sits and listens to this bear tell story after story! It also plays games.

Sam's first day of Preschool

It just dawned on me that I never blogged about Sam's first day of Preschool. Man, he was so excited. He could not wait. It was just killing him to watch Tori get on the bus for two weeeks before he got to go to school.
Sam was SO excited that he SPRINTED out the door to the car! He fell. :( Bless his heart! He is showing you the Boo-Boo on his knee. "Hey Mom, I am home. Preschool was SO fun!!!!!

You are all about to find out how odd I really am. Actually, I am sure you all know I am odd, I will just confirm it!

Here are some random/ weird facts about me.

1- I can't stand corners! Corners on my pillows, sheets and blankets drive me NUTS!!! When a corner gets in my face as I am trying to sleep it just drives me crazy. I really wish some one would invent round sheets and bed pillows!!

2-In the garden I will not plant a flower if i do not have another one to match it on the other side. It all must match. I have been known to dig up a plant if one dies because they no longer match.

3-SOS pads! I can't stand them!! I feel like they are dirty. Yes, I know they are a cleaning product but they are just nasty to me. Mike can't stand this about me because he like to clean with these but I just can stand them in the house.

4-I love Brussel sprouts and sauerkraut but am repulsed by cabbage (raw or cooked).. It is all cabbage but I just cannot admit that. (If you say that I did , I will totally deny it!)

5- I must sleep in socks! I cannot explain it, I just have to do it.

6- I don't know if this is quirk or a medical condition. But, my acid reflux causes me to make a really odd noise. It can be very loud and I can't control when I do it. My family calls it a "pea-yop" because that is how it sounds. It is actually quite startling and funny if you have never heard it. Although, since it is so loud it happens at some very inopportune times.

7- I have a foot thing! They are just so gross! I don't even like my own feet! Maybe that is why I have to wear socks to bed! ;)

Doing better

I am doing better since my surgery. I had a setback on friday, but am finally doing good. I got to go church on Sunday and that was nice. Today Mike and I are going to the school for Tori's Parent Teacher conference today, so I am getting around. I never thought I would be excited about doing dishes, but I felt like doing dishes yesterday! I was actually productive.
